Training & Education
I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University (2016) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in LGBTQ Healthcare at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Bedford, MA. In my years as a clinician, I have worked in a variety of settings, including university counseling centers, medical hospitals, and outpatient psychotherapy clinics. I am trained to provide both short and long-term individual psychotherapy, partners and family therapy, and psychological assessments, and gender affirming evaluations. I also hold an MFA in creative writing from the University of Arizona, and frequently integrate creative arts into my work as a therapist. I am currently an associate professor of psychology at Gallaudet University, and I am licensed in DC and MD.
